COVID-19 Guidelines & Protocols for flights

Sawtooth Flying Service is following the operational guidelines for air transportation set forth by the state of Idaho, the CDC, and the National Air Transportation Association.  Our current guidelines & protocols follow.


Our aircraft:

  • are disinfected after every flight, with EPA-approved disinfectant.

  • Hand sanitizer, face masks, and gloves will be available for passengers and pilots.


Our pilots:

  • are required to use hand-sanitizer after touching luggage and common-areas of the plane.

  • are required to use a face mask, when flying passengers.


Our passengers: 

  • are asked to practice responsible social distancing prior to entering the aircraft.

  • are required to wear a face mask while inside the aircraft.

  • are asked to limit touching areas inside the aircraft.  Gloves may be required, if coming from a COVID-19 hot spot.


Passengers should not fly, if they have had any symptoms of COVID 19 in the last 3 days or been exposed to anyone who has.
