WHO WE ARE...

Sawtooth Flying Service's story centers around the Dorris family of pilots & friends, who have been flying Idaho's backcountry for generations and enjoy sharing this love of backcountry aviation and unique geography.

The nuances of backcountry flying have been passed down now for 3 generations and our pilots have exemplary safety records.   

Idaho Aviation Hall of Famer Bill Dorris once said:   "A lot of pilots advertise they can fly anywhere but they don't.  They're afraid.  We do, only we do it at our time, under our conditions.  That's how you survive."
