Our story is centered around the Dorris family of experienced pilots and outdoor enthusiasts.  With their extensive knowledge of the area and love for aviation, they began Sawtooth Flying Services. Founded in 2008, Sawtooth Flying is proud to be a multigenerational company, bringing decades of expertise and passion for flying backcountry.

Idaho Aviation Hall of Famer, Bill Dorris, once said:   "A lot of pilots advertise they can fly anywhere but they don't.  They're afraid.  We do, only we do it at our time, under our conditions.  That's how you survive."
